Due to their expanding operations, they are looking for a talented Senior Electrical/Mechanical Estimator to join their team and help drive our continued success.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Electrical/Mechanical Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of the company. You will lead the submission of accurate, competitive tenders while mentoring junior team members and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Your expertise will contribute to securing business opportunities and developing strong relationships with clients across London and the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce electrical tenders for pre-designed and design & construct projects, serving both commercial and residential clients.
- Represent the company during site visits, client meetings, and presentations to secure new opportunities.
- Oversee and monitor your work to ensure tenders are completed accurately, profitably, and within deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to promote future business.
- Lead internal tender meetings with the Senior Management Team to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Managers, Contract Support, and Operations, to streamline processes.
- Share your expertise and contribute to refining our estimation practices and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Estimator, with a proven track record in preparing electrical estimates.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical installations.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally and effectively with clients and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior team members.
